SCIENCE:

Previously we thought, that the worker bees were male bees. And today we have come to know that it is actually the female bee who is the worker bee.

ISLAM:

The gender used in the Qur'an in Surah Nahl, Verse 68, while describing the worker bees, is female.

[16:68] And your Lord inspired to the bee, (...)

وَأَوْحَىٰ رَبُّكَ إِلَى ٱلنَّحْلِ أَنِ
