FIXED ORBITS

SCIENCE:

According to Science, planets have a fixed orbit. An orbit is a regular, repeating path that one object takes around another object or center of gravity.

Many people think that the Sun is stationary while the planets revolve around the Sun, but the Sun is also moving in an orbit around the Milky Way Galaxy. 

ISLAM:

The Qur’an stated the above fact more than 1400 years ago in the below verse, in Surah Al-Anbya.

[21:33] And He is the One who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in its own orbit.

وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
